Parliament - Mothership Connection
Parlons 'Funk', parlons de Parliament évidemment... L'album "Mothership Connection", sorti en 1976, fait parti des joyaux (car il y en a plus d'un) de ce groupe légendaire qui a su imposer son propre style, le 'P-Funk', comme véritablement ce qu'on appelle communément le 'Funk', le vrai selon les puristes du genre (dont je fais parti). Intense et sophistiqué, cet album est chaud... déroutant... hypnotique... Pas toujours facile pour des néophytes, il révèle pourtant très vite toute la puissance du 'Funk' selon George Clinton... la crème de la crème...

Salut Yoann, oui, cet album est un chef d' oeuvre du Funk, sans doute le plus abouti de Parliament-Funkadelic confondus.
Perso, j' adore aussi les trois premiers albums de Funkadelic plus rock et psychédéliques !

Mais le debut de cette chanson est totalement pompée sur Earth Wind and Fire ou est-ce l'inverse?
